Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival (D)
Welcome to Viet Nam. When you arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, the driver will collect you and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After that, we will visit Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French). Then, visit Saigon Central Post Office & Jamia Almuslim Mosque.
Have dinner at the local restaurant
Stay overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel
Take a half-day tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels. The tour guide will give you an overview introduction to Cu Chi and its legendary history. A documentary film about the tunnels will explain the tunnel’s histories and how fierce the war was in the area. You will be guided to the tunnels system, including the weapon factory, hospitals, and kitchens, crawl under the tunnels, etc. Leave Cu Chi tunnels and return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Back to Ho Chi Minh City and lunch at a local restaurant
After lunch, take a half-day city tour to visit the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace. Here you will learn about the history of Vietnam through the resistance wars.
Have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Can Tho (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel
The driver and the tour guide will collect you at the hotel and travel by road to Mekong Delta (Vietnam’s largest rice bowl). The first destination is My Tho. Embark on a boat and navigate through intricate canals. Visit the Unicorn Island.
Move on to the second Delta Province, Ben Tre (watch local villagers make coconut candy in a rural workshop, walk around briefly, and try riding a horse-pulled carriage). Next, cruising to some keeping households to taste fresh homegrown honey and honey tea.

Proceed to Can Tho (the capital city of the Mekong Delta).
Overnight at a hotel in Can Tho
Day 4: Can Tho – Chau Doc (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have boat trip on Hau River to Cai Rang Floating Market. Enjoy the morning coffee served by the local coffee boat and watch the whole world of trading going on from boat to boats. Next, the boat will go through the Mekong River along rural villages and will visit fruit orchards.
Cruise back to town, visit Binh Thuy’s ancient house. Although the house has a mixture of eastern and western cultures, it still retains the soul of the Vietnamese. Have lunch at the local restaurant.
Transfer back to Chau Doc.

Day 5: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel
The driver and tour guide will collect you at the hotel and start the journey to visit a village of Cham ethnic people, a Muslim mosque, and towel weaving. Take a boat trip into the Tra Su cajuput forest (sanctuary of flora and fauna). That is a typical wetland forest for the West Hau River region, home to many species of animals and plants belonging to the special-use forest system of Vietnam. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
There is a free time to relax or further explore Ho Chi Minh or go shopping. The tour ends after your transfer to Tan San Nhat Airport for departure. End of the South Vietnam 6 Days tour itinerary.
